Learning Support Assistant (EYFS)
15 hours 50 minutes per week
Monday - Friday 12.00 - 3.10pm
Actual Salary: £9131
Fixed term to August 2026 in the first instance
Starting as soon as possible
We are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in our mixed Reception/Year One class.
You will spend much of your time providing support to our Reception/Year One children in the classroom, under the direction of the teacher. You will also lead small groups of children in learning tasks and support the children during the lunch break.
We are looking for a candidate who is confident, enthusiastic, and adaptable. You should have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for building positive relationships with children and supporting them in their learning, social/emotional wellbeing and play.

We are looking for someone who is:
· Experienced in working with children
· Keen to immerse themselves in the life of our school and our community
· Able to support children's emotional and social development, with a therapeutic/trauma-informed approach to behaviour management
· Resourceful and able to work independently as well as with the team
· Passionate about supporting pupils to achieve to the best of their ability
· Confident to manage groups of pupils
· Able to listen thoughtfully and reflect
