Kitchen Assistant Vacancy
Radwinter CofE Primary School

��Monday to Friday, 11:30am - 1:30pm (Term Time Only)
We are seeking a friendly, reliable and hardworkingKitchen Assistantto join our catering team at Radwinter CofE Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the smooth running of our school kitchen and help provide nutritious meals to our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and simple cooking of food and beverages
Serve meals to pupils at the counter or hatch
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, surfaces, and floors
Ensure tables and counters are clean and well-stocked during service
Follow food safety, health & safety, and hygiene regulations
Support occasional school events outside normal hours (by prior agreement)
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience in food preparation, basic cooking, and cleaning duties
Understands the importance of hygiene and cleanliness in a catering environment
Can communicate clearly with children and adults
Works well as part of a team and is willing to learn
Is organised, punctual, and able to manage their time effectively
Understands and supports the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies
