We are looking for a catering assistant to support our school cook for two days a week, Mondays and Tuesdays 10.45am - 1.45pm, term time only.
The role involves helping to prepare and serve school lunches for our 84 well-behaved pupils, setting the dinner hall up for lunches and then tidying away the tables and sweeping the hall ready for the afternoon. If you like to work as part of a team, are able to show initiative and are keen to be part of the life of a friendly village school, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for someone who supports our school vision of 'treating others as you would like to be treated' - someone who can greet children with warmth and encouragement and who recognises that some children may need a little extra support at times.
Level 2 Food safety training and training on dealing with allergies would be a benefit, but training can be provided for a candidate with the right outlook and values.
