Stanway Primary School - Nurture Room Support Assistant
Hours: 31.66 hours per week, 08:30am to 3:20pm Monday to Friday (Term time only)
Pay Range: Local Government Scale 3 point 5-6
Actual Salary: from £18,261.80
Start Date: As soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint a committed Nurture Room Support Assistant who is enthusiastic, caring and passionate about learning and children's development who would like to join our establish nurture provision for SEN pupils.
The successful candidate will be:
· Be able to support the learning of individuals and groups of pupils through the provision of the well-being curriculum and to act as a role model, setting high expectations
· Be able to focus on individual pupils to ensure their needs are being met within wellbeing interventions and the nurture group
· Be Confident, calm and patient
· Be caring and dedication to our pupils
· Have a good general education and good literacy and numeracy skills
· Have knowledge relating to supporting children with Special Educational Needs
· Have good interpersonal skills and a flexible approach
· Is able to work as part of a team under the direction of the Nurture Room Leader/SENCO
· Has an ability to demonstrate reliability and confidentiality.
