Are you looking for a new challenge? If so this role could be for you.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with young people to join our already established Safeguarding team. You will be a point of contact and support for the designated safeguarding leaders and those involved in safeguarding around the school.
This role includes the undertaking of various administration duties including the organising, management and upkeep of records and student files, collection of information relating to reported incidents, producing and distributing documentation for meetings, communicating with parents, staff, students and external agencies, attending meetings to take minutes, producing data, tracking and monitoring staff training and an excellent attention to detail.
The successful candidate will need to understand the importance and significance of safeguarding and confidentiality. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a positive approach to working independently and as part of a team. You will need to have a proven track record of excellent ICT and administration skills.
Here at Castledon School we pride ourselves on our excellent high standards and performance. Whilst experience within an education setting would be useful, it is not essential as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will be required to have a good understanding of safeguarding and the referrals process.
You will need to strive to demonstrate, embed and uphold the school's PRIDE core values of Positivity, Resilience, Integrity, Dignity and Equality in order to support the character development of all students.
We can offer you:
A dedicated, enthusiastic, friendly and experienced hardworking team of staff
The opportunity to develop within a highly effective multi academy trust
Free Benenden Medical Healthcare cover
Local Government Pension Scheme
A school that is committed to continued professional development
Closing Date: 14th June 2026
If you have any queries, or wish to discuss the role informally please do not hesitate to contact us via email admin@castledon.org or telephone 01268 761252.
