Duke of Edinburgh - Casual Duke of Edinburgh's Award Assessor
Daily Rate of £111.54 plus a separate additional rate at 12.07% per day as payment, under the Working Time Regulations, for your statutory entitlement to annual leave (including public holidays).

An opportunity has arisen for the position of Duke of Edinburgh's Assessor.
The successful candidate will be hard-working, enthusiastic and reliable. This will include training students in preparation for their expeditions. You will also deliver expeditions, leading groups of young people between 14 and 18 years old over the designated expedition periods. Knowledge and experience of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is desirable.
Please note this role will require some weekend work along with overnight camping throughout the expedition season.

Information about the School
Colchester County High School for Girls is part of Alpha Trust. It is a selective state school for academically able students aged from 11 to 18 years which consistently achieves public examination results at the highest level and Ofsted "Outstanding". Admission to the school is via the 11+ examination in Year 7; the school also admits academic students into the Sixth Form. The school is lead for the North East Essex Teaching School Alliance and Colchester Teacher Training Consortium is based on the site. Situated a mile to the west of central Colchester, the school is set in its own extensive grounds on a large, quiet campus.
