Harwich and Dovercourt High School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Early Career Teacher of Mathematics to join our Mathematics & Enterprise Faculty.

A Day in the Life:
As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will:
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that secure strong progress
- Create a positive, purposeful classroom environment
- Use assessment effectively to inform teaching
- Contribute to curriculum development within the faculty
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to refine practice
- Engage positively with parents and carers
- Support the wider life of the school, including tutoring if required
We are looking for someone who brings energy, clarity and genuine enthusiasm for Mathematics - someone who believes all students can succeed and is committed to helping them do so.
What We're Looking For:
You are the perfect fit for our team if you have:
- Be working towards (or hold) Qualified Teacher Status
- Demonstrate secure subject knowledge across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Have high expectations of yourself and your students
- Be reflective and open to coaching and feedback
- Be committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- Show enthusiasm for contributing to the wider school community
