An exciting opportunity has arisen in one of the country's leading selective schools as we look to appoint a trainee physics teacher with strong specialist subject knowledge and academic ability, to teach and aspire our very able students throughout the school from KS3 to A level.
As part of the Graduate Teacher Programme we can offer;
- Competitive graduate salary (£28,000 plus in year 1 when training, rising to £32,000 salary when fully qualified) and permanent employment
- A funded position on a Graduate Teacher Programme
- Qualified Teacher Status following the successful completion of the course
Not sure if this is for you? Even if you are unsure about going into teaching, this opportunity may be of interest. You will finish the year as a fully qualified teacher with experience of working with highly engaged students. This is a well paid position with the addition of a fully funded teaching qualification. During your training period, you will be given a 70% timetable and mentoring and support to help you deliver this and develop your teaching.
You will need a degree in a subject related to Physics with strong A levels, including Physics.
