We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive and fun school community.

Hours: 27.5 hrs (term time only)

Working Pattern: 9:00am - 3:00pm daily (inc. a 30 minute break)

Additional responsibility: 1 hour supporting lunchtime duties

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives. You will play an important role in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning, helping them thrive both academically and socially.

We are looking for someone who:

· Has experience working with children (preferably in a school environment)

· Is nurturing, patient and positive

· Has a sense of humour and can build strong relationships

· Understands and uses positive behaviour strategies

· Can think flexibly and use initiative

· Communicates clearly and effectively with both children and adults

· Is a team player with high expectations for all pupils

We value a non-judgemental, empathetic approach, recognising that all behaviour is a form of communication. Experience or training in Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) would be an advantage.
