We are looking to appoint a caring, resilient and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA)to join our supportive team. This is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in a child's school experience and development. It is a term-time position, 16 hours per week.

About the Role:

You will be part of a small, experienced team providing individualised supportfor pupils with specific learning, communication, and sensory needs. The role involves working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENDco, the wider staff team and external professionals to provide a consistent, nurturing environment tailored to the child's needs.

This role may involve physical tasks, such as supporting with mobility or assisting with daily routines. Full training and support will be provided. We are looking for someone who is able to remain calm under pressure and is committed to promoting the child's independence and wellbeing. The role also includes hours carrying out midday assistant (MDA) duties, ensuring a safe and supportive lunchtime experience.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience (or a strong interest) in supporting children with complex needs.
  • Demonstrates patience, compassion, and emotional resilience.
  • Works well as part of a team and is able to follow detailed support plans.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with both children and adults.
  • Is organised, proactive, and adaptable to the changing needs of the day.
