39 term time weeks per year + additional 4 weeks for deep cleaning (during school holidays)
LGS Scale 1, Point 1
Actual salary £9.57 per hour
(including outer fringe allowance)
We are looking to appoint a cleaner who will be responsible for undertaking cleaning across the school site. This will be using a variety of methods including machinery and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Information about the School
St Martin's is a large co-educational comprehensive school located in Hutton, Brentwood. The school benefits from a pleasant semi-rural environment with agricultural land to the rear. The school, which also includes a large sixth form block, is situated on an open, attractive 30 acre site. Parking is available on-site and there are good transport links by both rail and bus. Hutton is five miles from the M25 and 19 miles from London, which is easily reached by road or train (25 minutes to Liverpool Street Station).
This is a large, but friendly school in which all staff are helped to develop their talents. This is supported by an extensive and wide ranging in-house continual professional development programme (CPD). We have high quality mentoring and induction programmes for staff with excellent opportunities for training and professional development.
