Job Title:Payroll and Pension Analyst
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Term: Part time/Full time considered for the right candidate
Salary Range: £29,064 - £35,412 (FT Salary to be pro-rated based on hours worked)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our busy secondary school. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in payroll and HR within an education setting.
Experience in payroll is desirable. The role may also include supporting general HR administration, offering great scope to broaden your skills.
Key Responsibilities
- • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
• Maintain staff records and support HR processes
• Prepare and submit pension data required by auditors and pension providers
• Assist with onboarding, contract preparation, and absence reporting
• Work closely with the Finance and HR teams to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Provide a high level of customer service to staff across the school

- Good numerical and IT skills (training provided)
- Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines
