Experienced Learning Support Assistant
5 mornings per week plus potential additional HLTA hours
Start Date: September 2026 or earlier negotiable
We are seeking a highly effective,experienced Learning Support Assistant who brings skill, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children.
At Earls Colne, support staff are central to the success of our pupils. This role requires someone who can work with precision, initiative, and care - someone who understands that the right support, delivered well, can transform a child's experience of school.
You will work closely with teachers and our strong inclusion team to provide high-quality support that enables all children to access learning, build confidence, and succeed.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has substantial experience as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary setting
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of how to support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND
• Can deliver targeted support and interventions with confidence and impact
• Builds respectful, consistent relationships with children, underpinned by high expectations
• Shows initiative, professionalism, and the ability to respond thoughtfully in the moment
• Works collaboratively and communicates clearly with colleagues and families
In this role, you will:
• Provide purposeful in-class support that enhances teaching and learning
• Deliver structured interventions and adapt support to meet individual needs
• Contribute to a calm, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
• Work in close partnership with teachers and our experienced inclusion team

This role is for 5 mornings per week, with the possibility of additional HLTA hours depending on experience and school needs.
