We are seeking caring, patient, and enthusiastic Pre-school Assistants to support children with Special Educational Needs. You will work closely with our experienced team to provide tailored support, helping children engage in daily activities, develop communication and social skills, and build confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children with a range of additional needs, including communication, social, emotional, and developmental needs
- Assist in implementing individual learning and care plans (EHCPs where applicable)
- Work closely with the SENCO, key workers, and external professionals
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Support children during play, structured activities, and routines
- Encourage independence and positive behaviour
- Maintain accurate observations and contribute to progress tracking
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers
A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential and recent references will be required.
