The Governing Body is looking to appoint a Catering Manger to join our friendly and hardworking team in September 2026. We are looking for a self-motivated, friendly, enthusiastic and experienced manager who has a passion for cooking and providing high quality meals.
Working Schedule
35 hours per week - Monday to Friday 07:30-14:30
Salary range (actual) £24,217-£25,815
Candidates should hold the Level 3 Food Safety Certificate or equivalent qualification, although training will be given. Ideally, applicants should have experience of working in a similar environment, be computer literate and be capable of managing and motivating staff.
Your role:
+ Deliver the catering service
+ Planning, preparation and presentation of to the required standard
+ Manager and motivate catering team
Your duties
+ Preparing 150-200 meals per day
+ Food ordering
+ Monthly stock takes
+ Budget control
+ Completing food hygiene paperwork
+ Catering daily, weekly and monthly checklists
+ Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen
