Year 2 Classroom Teacher (0.2FTE) Maternity Cover
Start Date: 1st December 2026
Salary: Teacher's Main Scale
Hours: 1 day 20%
Type: Fixed Term Contract until 30th November 2027

Are you passionate about working with children in schools and changing lives? We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Class Teacher to join our warm, friendly school to cover a period of Maternity Leave.

The successful candidate will inspire our children and become part of our enthusiastic, dedicated and creative team. We are looking for a teacher who:

• has a passion for developing children's learning, is forward thinking and open to new ideas;

• can implement and consistently follow the school's behaviour policy and behaviour management strategies, creating a positive, inclusive and respectful learning environment where all pupils feel safe, supported and able to learn
• will be committed, flexible and has the ability and commitment to work effectively as a member of the team;
• has excellent teaching, organisation and communication skills;
• be able to bring vision, energy and enthusiasm to the post;
• is creative and can inspire learning;
• demonstrate a nurturing, engaging personality and has a good sense of humour
