Further to the promotion of two members of our senior team, we are reissuing and extending the deadline for this advertisement, since we now have two Assistant Headteacher vacancies available.
We are seeking to appoint two exceptional teachers and inspirational leaders to join our dynamic and collaborative Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidates will be central to the strategic leadership of the school and will be responsible for working with other leaders to continue to drive improvement and maintain the high standards and expectations which are central to the school's culture. The first vacancy is for a Raising Standards Leader, who will oversee Year 11 and will work with the year leaders on strategies to secure the best possible outcomes for our young people, whilst also tracking the progress of students in Years 7-10. The second vacancy is for a Designated Safeguarding Lead, who will have whole-school responsibility for safeguarding, working with colleagues both within and beyond the school to protect all our students from harm and to support their wellbeing. Further responsibilities linked to each post will be negotiated following appointment, to take account of the successful candidate's skills and strengths.

It is anticipated that the postholder will make a significant contribution to the vision of the school in the next phase of its journey from good to great, and will be instrumental in upholding the school's ethos and core principles.
