About the role:
The Trust is looking to appointan ambitious andhighly motivatedAssistant Headteacherand invites applications from professionals with vision anddriveto inspire and lead on the strategic development ofaspects ofthecurriculumand teachingin the school.
We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate tobe responsiblefortheimplementationof keystrategiesand policies to secure continued school improvement.We are looking for someone who puts students first, proactively focuses on the development, sharing and monitoring of best practice to help across the school.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent, inspiring class teacher with a proventrack recordof strong student progress, and with a passion to make a differencefor all ourstudents.The role involvesworking closely with the newly appointed Deputy Headteacher and Head of School to leadand be accountable forkey aspectsidentifiedin the job descriptionsuch as(but not exhaustive).
Key Stage 3 lead (assessment, curriculum, teaching and learning, homework, parents' evenings & events)
Foundational knowledge (reading, spelling, handwriting, maths)
Reading strategy lead
Oracy strategy lead
The successful candidate will be a key point of contact forall staff, families and relevant stakeholders, and organisational skills are key. They will be actively encouraged and supported to engage with high quality CPD as part of this role.
