Learning Support Assistant: Band 3 - Points 6 - 7
0.6: three days per week, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
17.25 hours per week term time only: 8.30am - 3.15pm (8.30 - 12.00, 13.00 - 15.15)
Actual salary £10,178.41 - £10,340.55
Start: 1.9.26.
We are looking to appoint a strong and capable Learning Support Assistant to be deployed primarily in Year 1. Experience of working with children, a good standard of education and a strong commitment to making a positive difference to our pupils and their families, along with a child-centred approach and the ability to empathise with pupils' emotional needs are essential.

Skills required:
· Experience in, or willingness to complete training in order to lead a phonics group with fidelity to the Read, Write Inc method
· Experience of working with children with EAL as an additional need
· Confidence to lead interventions and groups to support children's individual targets, following relevant training
Have an understanding of the Primary curriculum, and be able to work alongside the class teacher to support those children who are still accessing the curriculumfrom EYFS
Proactively support the class teacher to organise and manage the teaching space both indoor and outside in order to create an enriching and stimulating environment for all children
Be kind and caring, with an appreciation of each family's differing needs
