We are seeking a trustworthy, reliable and hardworking Cleaner with Keys to join our friendly team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping a school environment clean, safe and welcoming.
We are offering a 15 hours perweek position, with preferred (but not essential) split-shift working patterns around the keys hours (7:00am school opening and 6:30pm school closure). We are able to be flexible with working hours and patterns and these can be discussed and negotiated with the successful candidate.
There is an opportunity to work overtime for school evening events and weekend lettings if desired.
Main duties include:
· Opening up and/or locking up; securing the school at the start and end of the day
· Acting as a key holder and ensuring the premises are safe and ready for pupils and staff
· Quality assuring the work of our contract cleaning team (who clean 8 classrooms)
· Cleaning and restocking supplies in the communal areas
· Emptying outdoor bins weekly
· Managing recycling and large bin collection routine
· Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and following all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
