Merrylands Primary School and Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a part- time EYFS Teacher to join our fantastic team.
Contract: Permanent / Part-time (2 x days per week - Thursday/Friday).
Start date: 1st September 2026.
Pay Range: Main Pay Scale.

Merrylands Primary School and Nursery is located in Cumberland Drive, Laindon, Basildon. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic EYFS Teacher who will ensure high-quality learning for our pupils and deliver a play-based, engaging curriculum.
We are looking for someone who:
- can model creativity, care and high standards in both indoor and outdoor learning environments
- has experience working within Early Years
- is passionate about Early Years education and early childhood development
- is skilled in designing engaging learning environments - especially using outdoor spaces
- has high expectations of the children and themselves with a passion for raising standards and attainment
- has an engaging teaching style which enthuses and motivates the children to learn
- works well as part of a team and has a commitment to improving and developing their own practice
