Canonium Learning Trust, winner of TES Trust of the Year (9 schools or fewer) 2025, is seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our team at East Hanningfield CE Primary Academy on a one-year fixed-term maternity cover contract.
We are seeking to appoint a friendly, positive and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant who will support class teachers to deliver lessons thatenable pupils of all abilities to flourish. The role will also involve working one to one or with small groups of pupils with SEN. The ideal candidate will have a patient and understanding manner, with excellent communication skills, a flexible and proactive approach, and a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
This role will involve supporting pupil's learning both inside and outside the classroom each morning (8:30-12pm), as well as providing lunchtime cover two days a week.
The LSA position is for 17.5 hours per week (8:30am-12pm each day) and the salary is £15,890.65 per annum.
The MDA position is for 2 hours per week (an hour a day 12-1pm) and the salary is £1,723.24 per annum.
