Catering Assistant
Scale 3
Term time only, 5 days a week, 10.30am - 1.30pm
To commence February 2025
Maylandsea Primary School is part of The Eveleigh LINK Academy Trust and is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and capable catering assistant.
General duties will include:
· Assisting with food preparation
· Assisting with lunchtime service
· Deputise for the Catering Manager as required
· Clearing away
· Washing up
· Cleaning
Previous experience would be an advantage. Training will be given.
Suitable candidates will need to be able to work as part of a team and able to liaise with other members of staff. The successful applicant will be organised with good communication skills, able to demonstrate initiative and flexibility, and understand the professional nature of the role.
