We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and motivated Class Teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team at Leigh Beck Junior School
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring all pupils make strong progress and achieve their full potential. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil achievement
- Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
- Is passionate about teaching and learning
- Has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- Demonstrates excellent classroom practice
- Is reflective, motivated, and committed to professional development
- Works effectively as part of a team
- Has a strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
