Job Title: Receptionist and School Administrator
37 hours per week. Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm
Term time plus two weeks (Days to be agreed)
Start date 1st September 2026.
We are seeking a professional, helpful, organised and dedicated person to join this friendly Office Team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, supporting staff and helping to keep a busy school office running smoothly whilst maintaining a positive attitude.
The duties and responsibilities will include:
- Experience of working in a busy school office environment and a knowledge of SIMS, FMS and Parentmail are desirable.
· Deal with enquiries and provide information and advice about the school for parents/carers, pupils and visitors both in person, via telephone and in writing.
· Maintain & update manual and computerised records/management systems.
· To provide general administrative support to a high and accurate standard - including trip letters, immunisations, after-school clubs, please note this list is not exhaustive.
· Carry out First Aid and update records as required.
· Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school.
- Able to work as part of a supportive team
Required Skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Outlook is essential
· GCSE qualification, Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
· A willingness to participate in and a commitment to training and
professional development.
· First Aid Certificate an advantage.
