Lead, Inspire and Champion Inclusion - SENCo Wanted!

Are you a passionate, dedicated and child focused SENDCo who will be the advocate and whole-school driving force supporting children with identified SEND needs? Parkwood Academy, part of the South Essex Academy Trust (SEAT), is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking SENDCo to join our vibrant and inclusive school community.

At SEAT, our values of belonging, compassion, curiosity and empowerment underpin everything we do. As SENDCo, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our strategic vision for inclusion and SEND provision, ensuring that every pupil receives the support, encouragement, and opportunities they need to achieve their full potential.

You will lead the development and implementation of the school's SEN policy, oversee effective interventions and support, and work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals to remove barriers to learning. A key part of your role will be to guide and inspire colleagues, promote best practice in teaching and learning, and uphold the highest standards of provision for pupils with additional needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled professional to influence whole-school practice and champion positive outcomes for pupils with SEND. The working pattern will be discussed at interview.

If you are ready to lead with passion, integrity and purpose - and believe in the power of inclusive education - we would love to hear from you!
