CATERING MANAGER

Pay Scale (New April 19 LGPS): Band 3 Point 6 to 17 (£19,171 - £23,836)Pro rata

We are looking to recruit an experienced and friendly Catering Manager to prepare fresh home-cooked food for our pupils. You will hold the Level 3 Food Safety Certificate; have experience working in a similar environment with the support of the catering team.
Candidates must have experience of cooking for approximately 150+ pupils and staff meal numbers and enjoy working as part of a team. Along with food preparation and serving, the Catering Manager will also have responsibility for food purchasing, stock taking and maximising the catering budget. They will also undertake line management duties for the current catering team ensuring training records are up to date and future planned.
The successful appointment will be subject to satisfactory medical checks, good references, enhanced DBS clearance and any other appropriate clearances as well as the completion of a success probation period.
