We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated KS2 Class Teacher and Head of Science to join our warm and supportive team. This unique role offers the chance to inspire young learners in your own classroom, while also leading the development of Science across the school.Depending on the expertise and experience of the successful candidate, there maybe the option of just teaching science across the KS2 phase.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, committed teacher who will:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support excellent pupil outcomes.
- Lead and develop Science across the school, ensuring a rich, exciting and progressive curriculum.
- Support colleagues with subject knowledge, planning and resources.
- Promote a love of scientific enquiry and hands-on learning.
- Contribute to our warm, inclusive and forward-thinking school community.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a strong understanding of primary pedagogy.
- Has a proven interest or specialism in Science and a desire to lead the subject.
- Is passionate about nurturing curiosity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Has strong organisational and communication skills.
- Is a team player with high expectations for all pupils.
- Is committed to inclusive practice and safeguarding.
