Monday to Friday 11am - 3pm
Intervention Learning Support Assistant
Danbury Park Primary School is looking for a committed, caring and enthusiastic Intervention Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team.
Working across Reception to Year 6, you will deliver small-group interventions and 1:1 support to help pupils build confidence, close gaps in learning and achieve their potential. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to support pupils with a range of needs, including those with EHCP targets.
The role will involve supporting children with:
• Reading and writing
• Phonics
• Mathematics
• Communication and confidence
· Social, emotional and learning skills
· Lunchtime play and social skills
We are looking for someone who is:
• Kind, patient and reliable
• Positive, flexible and enthusiastic
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Confident using positive behaviour management
• Committed to inclusive practice and helping every child succeed
· Bring a good sense of humour and a friendly approach when working with young children and colleagues
Previous experience of working with children or delivering interventions is desirable, but not essential. The right attitude, commitment and willingness to make a difference are what matter most.
