Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Working hours outside of school times, to be discussed at interview.
Term time plus 5 inset days (39 working weeks)
Actual salary: £5,819 per annum
FTE: £25,142 including fringe allowance
The Wickford Church of England School is a school where children are at the HEART. Our school provides a happy, caring and safe learning environment for all.
To help us maintain this, we are currently recruiting for a Cleaner to join our friendly team.
The role will involve cleaning our communal areas and classrooms, replenishing stock and emptying bins etc.
We are looking for individuals that are:
- organised and diligent
- friendly and personable with all members of our school community
- confident and able to work on their own initiative
- aware of health and safety, taking responsibility for their personal safety and that of others
- has the interests of children at the heart of what they do

The Wickford Church of England School is a small, friendly school, close to good transport links. Our school is a place where children can thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. The school provides education for children from the ages of 2-7 in the local area.
