Our happy, successful and caring school is looking for an LSA to support a child requiring additional support.
The role is to work with a KS1 pupil who needs a high level of structure, predictability and reassurance. They are very energetic and lively. Thepupil works to a personalised timetable where short bursts of work are supplemented by breaks involving physical activity and constructive play.
The pupil picks up new concepts well and likes planes and cars in particular. They want to know how things work and are naturally inquisitive. This pupil has experienced a turbulent start to their life however their life is slowly becoming more stable. This role will be key in helping them access their learning at school so they can maximise their potential.
Times of work will be from 8.40am- 3.20pm with a 30 minute lunch break, term time only. This is a temporary position.
The successful applicant will need patience and a sympathetic, nurturing personality.
There will also be an element of working with children during lunch time.
