Fairhouse Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a full time Class Teacher to join our fantastic team.
Start Date: 12th April 2027.
Contract: Fixed term contract to cover maternity leave for 1 year.
Salary: Main Pay Range

We are seeking to appoint a Class Teacher to work in Year 6 in the first instance. This is a great opportunity to work in a very supportive school with experienced Teachers and a very stable staffing.
We are looking for a person who:
· has high expectations of the children and themselves with a passion for raising standards and attainment
· has an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
· has experience of teaching in upper Key Stage 2, particularly in Year 6.
· experience of SATS preparation is highly desirable
· has a good understanding of pedagogical practice and can apply this to their own teaching
· is fully inclusive of all pupils, regardless of their needs
· is resilient, passionate and excellent at building relationships
· works well as part of a team and has a commitment to improving and developing their own practice.
