Unqualified Nursery Support Assistant
Hours of work: 30 hours per week - 8:30am to 2.50pm, term-time only
Salary Range: £10,440 - £16,586per annum (National Minimum Wage)
We have an exciting opportunity for an unqualified nursery support assistant to join our wonderful nursery.
Working with children aged between 3 months and 4 years as part of the nursery team and under the direction of the Room Lead and Nursery Manager, you will provide safe, high-quality education and provision for the young children in your care.
Duties will include acting as a keyworker for a small group of children, providing exceptional care, liaising closely with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met, teaching children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation, helping to set up and tidy away at the end of the session, attending meetings and training courses as appropriate, and undertaking any other reasonable duties as directed by the Room Lead.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a passion for working with babies and children.
- Be reliable, caring, dedicated and enthusiastic.
- Be a team player who can engage with children and school staff in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
- Be smartly presented, with excellent time management skills.
- Have GCSE's (or equivalent) in English and Maths (A*-C/9-4).
