KS1 / KS2 Learning Support Assistant
Hours - 8:40am - 3:10pm (with a 20 minute unpaid lunch break) - 30 hours 50 minutes per week (term-time only)
Salary - £18,291 to £18,861 per annum (dependant upon experience)
We are looking to appoint an experienced, passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our over-subscribed Primary School & Nursery.

The successful candidate will be:
- Enthusiastic and motivated to work with children with a variety of different personalities and skill levels
- An excellent team worker who is flexible where required
- Have experience within the Primary phase
- Be able to work under your own initiative
- Be able to promote and foster pupil independence
- Have excellent communication skills, including written
- Have GCSE's (or equivalent) in English and Maths (A*-C/9-4) (preferable, but not essential)
- Have a history of improving pupils' performance
- Be smartly presented, with excellent time management skills
We are looking for a candidate to support in Key Stage 1/2. Duties will include supporting pupils in lessons, during swimming and PE, during break and lunchtimes and preparing teaching resources and displays. There will also be the opportunity to run small intervention groups, boosting children's potential in assessments.
