Role: Senior MDA

Contract: Permanent, 38 weeks per year

Hours: 7.5 hours; Monday - Friday, 12pm - 1.30pm (1.5 hours per day)

Salary: Scale 3, Point 5-6 £24790 - £25183 (Actual Salary £4192 - £4258)

We are looking to appoint a reliable, caring, adaptable, motivated, and enthusiastic Senior Midday Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Barnes Farm Primary School. The hours of work will be 7.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 12pm - 1.30pm. The successful candidate will lead a team of Midday Assistants ensuring the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the midday break, in accordance with school policy, and under the direction of the Headteacher.

The successful candidate must:

· Work in collaboration with other midday colleagues and senior staff and creatively manage and implement interesting and stimulating activities and play for the lunchtime break.
· Oversee the pupils in the playground with positive engagement to ensure a safe and happy play time experience.
· Ensure First Aid protocols are followed including adherence to record keeping.
· Implement the Safeguarding and Behaviour Policy consistently.
· Have excellent communication skills.
· Have the ability to use their own initiative.
