An exciting opportunity for an experiencedqualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our dynamic team at The Duckling Nursery. This is a term time only setting with an amazing outdoor space, situated on Writtle School Infant site.
This role is 4.5 days a week - Monday to Friday - 33 hours per week.
Monday - 9:00 am - 2:45 pm
Tuesday - 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday - 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Thursday - 9:00 am - 2:45 pm
Friday - 9 am - 1:45 pm
September 2026 start with possible early start on a ad hoc basis - Summer Term 2.
We are seeking a confident and capable practitioner who can lead a room effectively and take responsibility for running our after-school provision on Tuesday afternoons. A willingness to work towards, or already hold, an EY SENCo qualification.
We are a term-time-only nursery for children aged 2-4 years, alongside a breakfast and after-school club serving Writtle Infant and Junior Schools. Safeguarding the children and families in our care is our highest priority. All successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check upon acceptance of the role.

Located on the site of Writtle Infant School, we maintain strong links with both the Infant and Junior school communities, who also access our breakfast and after-school provision.
