Job Description
Cressing Primary School is part of Attain Academy Partnership whose family of schools work as a team to provide an outstanding education for all children in all schools, relevant to the world in which they live. We seek a positive and enthusiastic colleague to join our team. If you are a conscientious, personable individual with a good sense of humour, then you will enjoy being a member of our team. We are a friendly school, committed to doing the best for our children and staff.
Role 1 is for five days per week, Monday to Friday 12 pm - 1pm (5 hours a week.)
Role 2 is for five days per week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 12 pm - 1pm (3 hours a week.)
Please note that these hours are not negotiable.
Main duties include, but are not limited to -
· To assist children in selecting their meal and sitting in an appropriate place in the dining hall.
· To assist children with eating their meal if applicable.
· To clear tables when meals are finished and clear up any associated spillages.
· To enforce the necessary sanctions for maintaining good order.
· To administer basic first aid as required.
· To keep daily records of first aid administered, behaviour and sanctions employed, together with any other relevant records that may be needed.
· To provide pastoral care, guidance and routine advice to pupils as appropriate.
· Where necessary and appropriate to lead games and activities with the children.
· To alert Senior Midday Assistant and/or the Headteacher of any concerns regarding an individual child or group of children
