Key Stage 2 teacher Main scale/NQT - Required from September 2016 for a Fixed Term One Year contract.
We are looking for an excellent KS2 teacher who would like to join us for one year from September 2016 to work with a class of upper or lower juniors. The successful candidate will join a friendly and dynamic team who work hard to secure the very best for our children.
At our school you will benefit from a supportive professional environment and have the opportunity to develop your classroom skills. We are proud to be a Talk for Writing school and are also developing ways of supporting children in developing a 'Growth Mindset'. This position would suit someone with a few years' experience wishing to broaden their horizons, or a newly qualified teacher.

Information about the School
With 95 pupils on roll, we are a small school with big ambitions for our children. Every child is known by every member of staff, and behaviour is excellent.
The village of Langham is in the beautiful Dedham Vale area, just to the North East of Colchester and we are within easy reach of the A12. The school is part of a thriving cluster of small schools, with which we work closely to promote wider opportunities for our pupils and provide development for our staff.
We have four classes: Class 1(Reception and Year 1); Class 2 (Year 2); Class 3 (Years 3 & 4); Class 4 (Years 5 & 6)
Our parents are extremely supportive and interested in the school. Parents are encouraged to play a full part in their children's education and are kept informed through newsletters about the curriculum and the life of the school. We have an active and hardworking PTA known as the “Friends of Langham School” that organises fundraising and social events. The school enjoys a good relationship with the village Pre-school and has links with the local church and other village organisations.
