We are looking for an SEN Learning Support Assistant as soon as possible to join our friendly school.

This post is for 22 hours (3 hours every morning, 1 ½ hours four afternoons a week and 1 hour one afternoon a week) to support a child with a Statement of Educational Need for hearing and visual impairment. This role will involve daily checking of the hearing aid, signing (Makaton or BSL), focused 1:1 and small group work, including phonics, resource preparation, checking understanding and developing self-help and independence skills through modelling and hover support.

Previous experience or a willingness to undergo training is desirable.
