39 weeks - This is term time plus 5 inset days , Working Hours 8:40am - 1:35pm Mon - Fri

Scale 3 Actual Annual Gross Salary inc fringe £14,000.19 Paid 24.35 hrs per week

We are looking for a caring, professional and positive person to join our team and to support our fantastic children with their learning and development.

Our LSA's support children (and teachers) throughout the school working with indviduals and groups. This post also includes lunchtime supervision and care of our pupils both outside and inside the dining room.

You will need:

To have a high standard of English and Mathematics (GCSE Grade C or above - or equivalent)
To be friendly, adaptable and approachable with a sense of humour.
To be prepared to work with pupils from age 4-11 incuding those with special educational needs.
To be prepared to support with some intimate care if required.
To attend occassional after school training sesions (in leiu of school closure days)
To be prepared to support learning inside and outdoors - come rain or shine!

Information about the School

West Horndon Primary School is a welcoming, warm and friendly primary school. We are located just outside Brentwood in Essex. We also have a 20 pupil Enhanced Provision for children with speech and language difficulties.
