TEACHING ASSISTANT

Hours: 21 hrs 30 mins per week (8.30am - 12.00 midday, then 1.00pm to 3.00pm 2 afternoons per week) term-time only.

Scale 3, pro-rata salary approx. £11,530 per annum.

Position to start as soon as possible.

We require an enthusiastic, friendly and reliable individual to join our School.

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to take on a crucial role within our School. The successful candidate should be keen to make a difference to the life chances of Hazelmere children.

The successful candidate will ideally:

  • be able to communicate with other members of staff effectively
  • be able to build a strong professional relationship with the children and their families
  • have a willingness to take part in class planning and adapt it to the needs of the child where applicable
  • have good organisational skills
  • have good behaviour management skills
  • be flexible in their approach
  • work well as part of a team, as well as showing initiative and an ability to work independently
  • most importantly, have a good sense of humour!
