We are looking for a compassionate and committed higher level learning support assistant. The job will be varied; working across the school supporting individuals or groups as required. The role will involve some whole class teaching too, alongside a class-based learning support assistant.

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School is a highly valued school in the heart of South Woodham Ferrers. The successful candidate will:

· Have already completed the HLTA Qualification or NVQ Level 4 or equivalent (Desirable, but not essential).

· Understand teaching and learning and be committed to raising standards.

· Have a positive attitude.

· Have the ability to engage, inspire, motivate and build relationships with children.

Information about the School

Christ The King Federation was created to bring together the schools of St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, South Woodham Ferrers and St Francis Catholic Primary School, Maldon.

The joining of the two schools has proved fruitful with many shared successes including both schools being awarded an outstanding inspection judgement in their most recent Section 48 inspections. Both schools place great emphasis on the Arts as well as sporting activities and our achievements in both can be appreciated on your visit to our schools.
