HARWICH AND DOVERCOURT HIGH SCHOOL

HEAD OF TECHNOLOGY

Pay Range: Teachers Main Pay Scale (M1 - U3)

Actual Salary from: £30,000 - £46,525+ TLR 2A - (£7,847)

Start Date: 1st September 2024

The Role

We are seeking an outstanding individual to raise standards of student attainment and achievement within the Technology Department (all disciplines to KS4) and to monitor and support student progress.

Should you be successful during the shortlisting process interviews will be held face to face at the school.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

· To monitor and follow-up student progress.

· To formulate aims, objectives and strategic plans (for all disciplines of Technology al Key Stages) which have coherence and relevance to the needs of students and to the aims, objectives and strategic plans of the School.

· To keep up to date with national developments in subject areas and teaching practice and methodology.

· Qualified Teacher Status

· Excellent classroom practitioner across the age and ability range

· Able to devise and implement strategies for improving student progress

· Excellent ICT skills
