Actual Salary £16,270.02 - £17,963.27
We are seeking to appoint a motivated, warm and caring person who will be based in our dedicated Medical Room to be responsible for providing medical care, first aid, wellbeing and pastoral support to pupils within our school and sixth form, during the school day. The role will also involve developing and supporting health plans for pupils including those with chronic illness and specific dietary requirements.
We are looking for someone who:
- is a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or equivalent or a Paramedic/experienced first aider with the equivalent experience.
- has a warm and caring nature with the ability to develop positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- has a flexible approach to work with the ability prioritise an everchanging reactive workload
- is an excellent communicator with good organisational skills
- has excellent IT Skills
- is committed to promoting health education throughout the school population and raising awareness of leading a healthy life style
