NURSERY PRACTITIONER/LSA
COMMENCING 6th June 2022
Contractual Status: Permanent
Responsible to: Headteacher/ Deputy Headteacher
Hours: 6 hours per week X 38 weeks per year (plus additional short notice cover when necessary)
Salary: Scale Point 3 (Actual salary £2,531)
We are looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner/Learning Support Assistant to support children in our warm and welcoming nursery provision on a regular basis. We are also looking to appoint an individual who would be able to work additional hours either within the nursery provision or supporting other year groups across the school, at potentially short notice, as needed.
Our ideal candidate will be a reliable, caring, flexible and enthusiastic person who genuinely enjoys interacting with children. An ability to be a positive member of a team is essential and a sense of humour would be a bonus. We are looking for an addition to our wonderful team who has the energy and enthusiasm to make a difference!
An understanding of the EYFS curriculum and Statutory Framework is desirable but not essential as training can be provided. We are committed to continuous professional development and the relevant training will be provided for the successful applicant.
Previous experience of working in a school or nursery setting is also desirable.
