Our happy, successful and caring school is looking for an Learning Support Assistant to support a named child in Eary Years Foundation Stage. This is a temporary position until July 2022 with the possibility to extend.
30.83 hours per week - 5 days per week, 30 minutes lunch, 8.40am - 3.20pm. Term-time only.
Actual Salary £13,101 - £13,363
We require an LSA to support a child with the following:
- No functional communication
- Minimally verbal
- Very short attention span
- Unable to engage in class activities
- Likes to work on his own agenda
Attributes required in applicants:
- Use of initiative in adapting to the actions of the child very quickly
- An understanding of using visual support strategies is needed
- Resilience
- Ability to communicate successfully with parents and specialist teaching staff

Long Ridings Primary School, a popular and thriving two-form entry primary school with 388 pupils. It is a great place to work.
