Dedham Primary School is seeking to appoint aCatering Assistant to join our friendly, dedicated and enthusiastic team. We are an outstanding school with well-behaved pupils who are eager to learn. The working hours for the role are 9:30am to 1:30pm, five days a week (20 hours per week), 38 weeks per year.
The role involves:
- Preparing for the lunch hour by setting out equipment including trays, cutlery; crockery and water jugs;
- Supporting in food preparation and cooking
- Helping to clear serving areas and operating the dishwasher
- Hand washing up of some cooking equipment
- Serving food to children

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, medical clearance and provide suitable references.
