Permanent, part-time contract
10 hours per week, 2 hours per day Monday to Friday during the lunch period (exact hours to be negotiated)
38 weeks per year (term time only)
Actual Salary £5,507 per annum/£11.95 ph
We are a vibrant and welcoming primary school, seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join our warm, friendly and inclusive team in our busy kitchen.
Previous experience of catering or kitchen work is desirable, although training is available for the right candidate. A commitment to high standards of cleanliness, flexibility, the ability to work with heavy equipment and at a good pace are essential. We are looking for someone who can work under the direction of the Catering Manager, whilst also using their initiative and working as part of an effective team. The successful candidate will have a good sense of humour and enjoy working in a child-centred environment.
This position is ideally for an immediate start, although a later start date would certainly be considered to allow for those currently employed in other roles to serve their notice period.
