This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of our outstanding team.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate teacher for inclusion and special educational needs. This post is for 2 days per week, but with an opportunity for the right candidate to undertake additional hours if desired.
Candidates will have:-
· National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination/Experience preferred
· Dedication to making a difference to each and every child's learning experience
· Ability to co-ordinate provision for the children with special educational needs and disabilities raising student achievement and enhancing student potential
· Ability to lead and support new initiatives with vision and innovation
· Drive and determination to meet the strategic development of special educational needs (SEN) policy and provision in the school
· Be able to provide professional guidance to colleagues and lead by exemplary practice, working closely with staff, parents and external agencies
· Ability to ensure records of children with special educational needs are up to date and accurate
The SENCO will also be expected to fulfil the professional responsibilities for a teacher, as set out in the Schools Teachers Pay and Conditions Document.

Information about the School
We are a popular, happy and caring school where expectations and standards are high and where every child is valued. Our children enjoy an exciting learning experience in a stimulating environment. We have an extensive outdoor space which includes a playing field, large play apparatus and a secure garden for our Early Years children to explore. With our own garden and Forest School, we embrace outdoor learning. Our story telling garden was opened by local author, Kes Grey and it includes a wildlife area and pond. We offer an extensive range of additional clubs and activities for children to participate in.
