Salary - Scale 2 (FTE) £18,065
Hours - 20 hours Mon - Fri 10am - 2pm
About The Role:
We are looking for a committed person to join the Schools Catering Service to assist in the kitchen and dining room as required in the preparation of food and food service, washing up, general cleaning and other tasks associated with catering. A moderate amount of lifting is necessary in the execution of the post holders' duties such as the movement of dining furniture, saucepans and provisions.
Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
The successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative as well as within the team, remain calm under pressure and have a good sense of humour!
The successful applicants must:
· Enjoy working in a busy environment
· Be caring and flexible
· Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to fit it with our hard working team
· Have a good standard in literacy and numeracy skills -
· Have effective positive behaviour management strategies
· Have previous experience of working in a catering environment
Due to current circumstances we will not be able to welcome school visits.
